Who wants some Pi(e)?

Pi day is the annual celebration of mathematical constant π. Pi Day has been observed in many ways, including eating pie, throwing pies, discussing the significance of the number pi and now, running and exercising in the shape of a pie! Pi consists of the numbers 3.1415926535897932384…


Warm up: Jumping Jacks and High knees to the song “Pi Song”




Start at the center of the circle with 3 Burpees, then run to each pie piece and complete an exercise, run back to center 3 burpees, then to the next pie piece, etc. After completing one exercise at all 5 pie pieces run the circle and then back to middle to rinse and repeat completing the next exercise at each pie piece. 3rd time around choose your own adventure and complete one exercise at each station.


  1. 31 jump squats, 58 Hillbillies
  2. 41 plank jacks, 97 reverse flutter kicks
  3. 59 hallelujahs, 93 flutter kicks
  4. 26 push-ups, 23 plank punches
  5. 53 LBCs, 84 monkey humpers

Anyone catch that the exercise reps were the first 20 digits of pi (nerd alert!!)?? After 3 rounds of π we circled up for some Mary Suicides! Partner up, partner 1 completes the ab exercise while partner 2 runs from center to each pie piece, then switches out with partner 1.
