When in doubt, pull out the balls…..the tennis kind.

I had a different workout planned but due to the rain and lack of space, I just decided to do an oldie but a goodie. I had exercises written on tennis balls. Each person choose a tennis ball and we did the exercise. We had a 2.0 with us this morning! Special shout out to Tough Stuff! She did awesome and really showed us why she got her FiA name. 🙂

  1. 2 Laps around the parking lot
  2. 10 Squat Jumps
  3. 20 Pushups
  4. 10 Pushups with rotations
  5. Jacknife 10 each leg (for abs)
  6. Jumping Jack to leg hug 20 (after the jack, squat down and hug your knees)
  7. Med ball side pass (have team line up shoulder to shoulder. Everyone holds a squat. The first person with the medicine ball twists to pass it to the next person. The next person twists to hand it off. When it got to the end of the line, we went back up the line. We did this about 5 times I think?? I stopped counting. I kept going until my quads started hating me.)
  8. 20 Plank hip twist
  9. 40 mountain climbers
  10. 10 Pushups with alternating knee to elbow
  11. 20 Side Plank Rotation each side
  12. 10 Tuck Jumps
  13. 10, 3 point jumps (high plank position, take feet and jump to the left, then up to the chest, then out the right, repeat)
  14. 20 Star Abs opp. Hand to opposite foot, crunch/situp to leg lift

We went through all of the balls, so we did partner push pulls. You stand facing each other and grasp the other person’s opposite hand. You have to pull on your partner’s hand while the provide resistance. Then your partner pulls your arm while you provide resistance to her. We did it 10 time per person per arm. We then did the same thing but with your hand open like you’re giving each other a high five, and you push this time instead of pull.

We then did our cool down and stretch
