Triple Nickel Birthday

What an awesome way to start my birthday morning?!?  Eight wonderful and amazing FiAs (two were FNGs) came to get their day started with a workout.  Woot woot!!

Warm Up –

  • High Steppers
  • Butt Kickers
  • Toy Soldiers – kinda IC for 15
  • Jumping Jacks – IC 20

The Thang –

I decided that today would be all about Triple Nickels.  🙂  For anyone that doesn’t know what a Triple Nickel routine is – perform two exercise for a set of five each then do five sets.  For extra difficulty add stairs or hills – today I added stairs between each exercise and a lap around the soccer field between each set of Triple Nickels.

Triple Nickel One

  • Blast-off Push Ups
  • Squat and Overhead Press Combo (Mary Lou 🙂 )

Triple Nickel Two

  • 180 Squat Jumps
  • Skaters (Both legs = 1)

Triple Nickel Three

  • Mountain Climbers
  • Froggers

Triple Nickel Four

  • Dips (Tinker 🙂 )
  • Plank Jacks (SUP 🙂 )


  • LBCs
  • Alternating Bridge Taps


Thank you to all the wonderful women that showed up this morning!  Thank you to Jessica and Karla for coming out and giving FiA a chance – we hope to see you at the next workout!  Thank you for my fellow Qs that gave me ideas when my brain was a little foggy this morning and thank you for all the birthday wishes!  Love all you ladies!!
