And the Rain Finally Came

The morning was cool with the feel of rain in the air. A quick check on AccuWeather informed me that we had 3 minutes till the rain showed up, so we made the decision to move from the Bridge to the SAC for our pyramid workout. After all our hardwork of moving patio furniture for space, the rain didn’t show up until right as we were leaving. AccuWeather was not for the win today.

Warm Up 

  • Move heavy metal patio furniture on the SAC patio to make room for us.
  • Run around the fountain and back.

The Thang

A pyramid style workout. We started at the top and worked out way down. Between each pyramid level we did a one minute wall sit. After we deconstructed the pyramid (we didn’t build it since we started at the top), we did another run to the fountain and completed the top rows till time.

  • 60 side leg raises (split between each leg)
  • 1 minute wall sit
  • 45 fire hydrants (each leg)
  • 45 Tricep dips (doing these on the built in bench on patio = intense workout)
  • 1 minute wall sit
  • 30 donkey kicks (each leg)
  • 30 frog crunches
  • 30 shoulder taps
  • 1 minute wall sit
  • 15 lunges (each leg)
  • 15 Jump Squats
  • 15 push ups
  • 15 burpees
  • 1 minute wall sit

We cooled down by stretching while have some social time and devo with prayers.

Devo and Prayer

I had a different verse I wanted to share today but upon turning on the Bible app the verse of the day seemed too good to pass up. Plus it’s a reminder that’s good any time.
