Payday Backblast – March Madness

5 PAX joined me for some March Madness in this crazy weather.  When I woke up to thunder and lightning I was super glad I relocated the workout.  We tried to imagine the parking deck had a basketball court for my workout.

Warm Up: 10 JJ IC, 10 windmills IC, 10 High Knees IC, 5 inchworms and arm circles.

The Thang:

NCAA Bracket countdown, from 64 teams down to 1 champion!

64 Mountain Climbers

32 Weights down and pick up (16 each side)

16 – Curl and overhead press

8 (8 count push ups)

4 full sit up to stand

2 laps sprint

1 Championship plank hold

4 Corners – B/c I am a UNC girl, we did some 4 corners that Coach Dean Smith was famous for, we traveled from corner to corner in between

Round #1 – 30 ic
Corner #1 – squat jumps
Travel – high knees
Corner # 2 – Triceps overhead with weights
Travel – walking lunge
Corner #3 – plank shoulder taps
Travel – bear crawl
Corner #4 – Plank Jacks
Travel –Broad jump

Round #2 – 20 ic
Corner #1 – Carolina dry docks
Travel – butt kickers
Corner # 2 – Row with weights in push up position
Travel – crab walk
Corner #3 – monkey humpers
Travel – low side shuffle right
Corner #4 – Push Ups
Travel – low side shuffle left

Round #3 – 10 ic
Corner #1 – mountain climbers
Travel – toy soldiers
Corner # 2 – Curl and overhead press
Travel – karaoke

Corner #3 – plank punches
Travel – walking side lunges
Corner #4 – Squat kicks
Travel – skip
