Mother’s Day VQ

Thank you to the ladies that showed up for my VQ!  It was a great turnout!

Warm up –
10 each in cadence

  • Butt Kickers
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Windmills
  • Arm Curls ( wide and narrow)
  • Mountain Climbers

Next we Ran to the field and started to sweat in the early morning sun

The Thang –

Did 3 rounds (20, 15, 10 Reps) each of…

  1. Sumo Squats with weights
  2. Shoulder Press with Reverse Lunge
  3. Thruster with Curl (weight)
  4. Renegade Row with weights
  5. Mountain Climbers
  6. Star Jacks

Ran the field after each round and then back at it again


Did 2 rounds (10 Reps) each of…

  1. Bent Over Row
  2. Push Ups ( wide or narrow)
  3. Weighted Squat Jumps
  4. Tricep Extension
  5. Burpees
  6. Alternating Shoulder Taps
  7. Walking Weighted Lunges

Run the field alternating side shuffle after each round

Then we ran or walked back to the community center with our packs and weights to do some ab work…

Ab workout Tabata style with resting in between ( 2 rounds of each)

  1. Crunches
  2. Lying Leg Raises
  3. Bicycle Crunches
  4. V Ups
  5. Side Toe Touches
  6. Plank Jacks

We had some Mother’s Day inspirations  –

Motherhood is a choice you make everyday, to put someone else’s happiness and well being ahead of your own, to teach the hard lessons, to do the right thing even when you’re not sure what the right thing is and to figure yourself over and over again, for doing everything wrong….

A Mother is she who can take the place of all others… but whose place no one else can take😊
