Jazzy Madness-Day 3

This morning was certainly MADNESS! I did warn you that it was going to be hard but we will never improve if we don’t learn to push ourselves. I knew it was going to be a cold morning so I wanted to make sure that everyone stayed nice and warm! 😉

We started with a warm up with 4 exercises, 45 seconds each, and repeated it 2 times. This was followed by a 1 minute active cool down stretch. The workout consisted of 5 circuits, with 3 exercises per circuit, at 30 seconds each, and we repeated each circuit 3 times before getting a 30 second break and moving on to the next circuit. We ended with a 3 minute cool down stretch. See workout below.

Warm up: 45 seconds each, repeated 2x

Jog in place

Arm raise jacks

Butt kicks

Cross jacks

1 minute rest with active stretch

Workout: 3 exercises for 30 seconds, repeat 3x, with 30 second rest in between

1st circuit: burpee lunge, plank jacks with shoulder tap, double diamond jump

2nd circuit: plyo power knee, superman pushup, scissor stance jack

3rd circuit: walking pushups, hit the floor, ski abs

4th circuit: Heisman, pushup with oblique knee, skater jump

5th circuit: abductor squat, 10 & 2, football quick feet: move left, right, back, set up, sprint in place

1 minute hit right 2x Power jump, alt to left

Cool down stretch

This workout even kicked my butt but I don’t get better either if I don’t push myself!
