Hello October and Hello Fall!  It was a crisp morning at #portside… we all commented on feeling chilly- but that didn’t last long. 😉  We got started with a quick couple of stretches and moved into the plan.

The Thang: 5 Rounds @ 6 minutes each- repeat each set until the time is up

Round 1

  • 10 Squat Jumps
  • 10 PushUps
  • 10 Leg lift crunches

*Sprint to the road and back to mats

Round 2

  • 12 Plank Jacks
  • 12 Dips
  • 12 Alternating Lunges

*Skip to the road and back to mats

Round 3

  • 15 Jumping Jacks
  • 15 Good Mornings
  • 15 Hallelujahs

*Sprint to the road and back to mats

Round 4

  • 12 Bicycle crunches
  • 12 Burpees OR Inchworms (we were wearing out…)
  • 12 Plank Shoulder Taps

*Side Shuffle to the road switch lead leg back to mats

Round 5- we weren’t sure we were going to make it at this point…

  • 10 Squat Kick Backs: CHALLENGE COMPLETE for today 🙂
  • 10 Plank up/downs
  • 10 Mountain Climbers

COT: We took the opportunity to share some of our experiences with Hurricane Florence and how we have served throughout our community is so many different ways the past few weeks.  Thank you for struggling with me in the workout this am.  We are #strongertogether!

Psalm 46: 1-3- God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.  Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way and and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:10-11 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”.

FiA ladies- Be confident in His ability to hold your life in His hands, allow Him to be your source, your life, your anchor, your breath, your reason, your song, your healer, your deliverer, your friend… YOU are His GREATEST pleasure!
