Frog Pond Friday Recess Back-Blast

You read that right… After a TOUGH week of workouts we had recess today!!
After warming up in the main parking lot we ran to the PLAYGROUND!!
We even had an FNG join us today, I hope she doesn’t expect this kind of workout when she returns.

THE THANG –
1:00 on :15 transition
Incline Pushups – use any part of the playground
Pullups – again, anywhere a pullup could be done
Reverse Lunge on elevated surface
Slide Sit Ups – head on the lower surface
BE SURE TO HIT ALL FOUR
REPEAT

MOVE TO THE OTHER PLAYGROUND
1:00 on :20 transition
Up and Overs – climb the chain ladder, over the top and back down
Swing Knee Tucks – either sitting on the swing or feet in swing, hands on ground
Tricep Dips on an elevated surface
Swing Criss Cross – sit on the swing and criss cross feet – much harder than it sounds
BE SURE TO HIT ALL FOUR
REPEAT

WELL, this was something… something new. We encountered some unexpected obstacles on the playground today… wet mulch, mud, wet equipment…but we rolled with it!

Thanks for being great sports and trying everything. I guess the best part was when our FNG found herself on top of the climbing chain and asked that we call the fire department to get her down!!! I didn’t laugh because I can’t even get to the top due to my fear of heights.
Conquering fears – one of the many things we do!!

My takeaway – IF there is a sketch rather than a photo of a move, it’s probably close to impossible!
