YHC had the honor of traveling to Pelion to fill in as Q at this new-ish AO, the Prowl, as promised.  Those ladies (mostly over the age of 50) showed up to work this morning-there was not a dry shirt in the circle!  We are celebrating the 5th anniversary of FiA Lexington this week so there were lots of 5s and multiples of 5 throughout the workout today.


MUGGY 72 degrees. 1000% humidity. Sticky. Stagnant. Thick. Suffocating. Did I mention muggy?

Warm Up:

5IC Hamstring curls

5IC Knee drivers

5IC of each of 5 types of jumping jacks:

  • Regular jumping jacks
  • Seal jacks
  • Smurf jacks
  • Wacky jacks
  • Plank jacks

5IC Big arm circles forward and reverse

The Thang:

Unstack workout spelling out BLIMPS

5 Burpees

10 Lunges (each leg)

15 Imperial squatters

20 Mountain climbers (each leg)

25 Push ups

30 Sit ups

At the end of each round, take a lap around the parking lot.

Rinse and repeat, dropping off 1 letter each round for a total of 30 burpees, 50 lunges, 60 imperial squatters, 60 mountain climbers, 50 push ups and 30 situps.

Line up in a single file line one behind another.  Everyone performs sumo squat side bends while one by one, the PAX at the back of the line ran to the front and continued with side bends until everyone had a turn to run.
