An Ode to Florence

Oh, Florence! You have everyone so worked up. Now you’ve decided to hit our precious little town. In honor of your strength, we like strong women, I dedicate today’s WO to you. All exercises were hurricane themed and it was pea soup hot and HUMID!!!!

Warm Up – all IC
Florence butt kickers
Open and close your interstate gate

Run Skipper (helper on a boat) loop to Sub(marine)Way.
All exercises were “high” bc we need to get to high ground.
High Knees 30s
High incline push ups 20
High plank – 1 min.

Run to Baptist Church
Drowning dead bugs 30s
Hurricane plank with knee raise 1min
Hurricane Sprints…Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3, Cat 4, Cat 5

Run to our anchor (Mill Stone)
Eye of the Storm humpers 30 IC

Run from the storm surge back to WEP

We got almost 3 miles in today.

COT – Find your own “eye” (calm place) in the middle of life’s storm. Stay safe my friends!!
