Wet Noodles Backblast

This morning a few of us gathered in a light rain, and were quickly scrambling for cover in lightning and down pour. Good thing, I brought the pool noodles!

The THANG:

Pool Noodle Set 1 (30 seconds each, no rest)

knee up w/ noodle going in and out

knee up w/ noodle up and down

knee up w/in and out – up and down combo

REPEAT

 

downward dog and child’s pose stretch

 

Pool Noodle Set 2 (30 seconds each, no rest)

Heismans

fast feet wide

fast feet in with arms up

REPEAT x2

 

side squat to corner to pick up cone and bring back to circle

 

Pool Noodle Set 3 (one minute each, 10 second rest)

jump squat with twist

noodle bicep curl (right)  w/leg lift to side (left)

noodle bicep curl (left) w/leg lift to side (right)

standing ab (right)

standing ab (left)

hop over noodle and air raid

overhead press w/right knee up then reach with right leg back

overhead press w/left knee up then reach with left leg back

jumping jacks w/ arms out and down

 

side squat to corner w/cone and squat back to circle

 

Core Set (30 seconds each, no rest)

side plank w/crunch

plank

side plank w/crunch

straight leg sit ups

leg circles

reverse leg circles

legs at 90 degrees – 45 degrees – 15 degrees

flutter

hold crunch w/pulse

glute bridge

glute bridge with knees in and out
