It was a beautiful morning at Hunter Games today – and we were so grateful for the occasional breeze. Major kudos to El Paso for keeping up and working so hard with only a month left to go! I was so proud of everyone for knocking out those 400 squats in our extended Dora and I’m looking forward to find other ways to challenge these hard working ladies!

Words of encouragement: Hebrews 12:2 “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. For the JOY set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” In the difficulty of the days (a constantly upset and teething baby was my example, miserable baby miserable momma), I want to work on fixing my eyes on the eternal and not the fleeting. Let us work to remember the eternal that we live for, eternal joy, and not get bogged down by not feeling much joy during difficult moments or seasons because joy (happiness/pleasure) on this earth is temporal and fleeting anyway.
