The air was cold, but something ’bout it felt like home somehow…

oh…(ahem) The air was actually very muggy for our workout…and I may or may not have been sweating before we started the warm up…But we began our day strong and fierce with a Taylor Swift inspired workout.

This was my VQ and I was so excited I barely slept last night…thankfully everyone’s energy kept me going! Thank you, ladies! I got to our newly named Sweat School early and finished on time…what?! I’m notoriously late to…everything…so that in and of itself was a huge accomplishment for me!

Count O Rama, Name O Rama, & Circle Of Trust:

Kayla (solo FNG today) had to leave early…but we promise we will get you named next time! You rocked it by the way!

I shared a quote by Charles Swindoll that really reminded me how important our actions, thoughts, and attitudes are. We always have a choice in how we respond to any given situation.

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church….a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past…we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes.”

We ended with a prayer and then several of us enjoyed some coffee (I needed it!) and fellowship afterwards with Coffeeteria at Starbucks. Hope everyone has a “typical Tuesday night” (I couldn’t resist!).
