Squats and Rocks

Turned out to be a beautiful morning and fun workout!

Warm-up and stretch: Jumping jacks, alternative high knee stretches, cherry pickers, leg rotations, windmills

CIRCUIT 1

  • Ski Moguls
  • Squats with alternating side leg lifts
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Donkey Kicks
  • Plank with alternating “side fives”
  • Curtsy Lunges
  • Side Shuffles with High Knee Hold

40 seconds each with 20 second break between exercises. Repeat circuit

 

CIRCUIT 2

  • Frog Jumps across the basketball court
  • 5 pushups
  • Bear Crawl across the court
  • 5 tricep dips

Repeat circuit

 

CIRCUIT 3

Pick a rock from the rock pit

  • Squats, pushing rock straight above head when standing up
  • Forward Bend Rows (keeping elbows close to body)
  • Bicep Curls
  • Tricep lifts (arms straight behind holding rock near hips, or  arms bent back over shoulders holding rock)
  • Side Squats, pushing rock straight out in front when standing up
  • Goblin Squats, keeping arms straight down in front while holding rock

30 seconds each with 20 second break between exercises. Repeat circuit

 

Stretch it out.
