I always try to find words that have real meaning for me and give me encouragement when I need it most.  For Saturday I chose a quote from Michael Jordan.  “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career.  I’ve lost almost 300 games.  26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed.  I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life.  And that is why I succeed.”  This quote kind of slapped me in the face.  I am always pushing for perfection and expecting to never fail, but I do fail regularly.  Failing is fine because it always teaches you a lesson, but giving up is not an option.

Have a great week FiAs!
