It’s time for summer camp – for my 2.0 next week and for us FiA ladies today. Here’s what went down at Camp FiA:
Warm-ups on the soccer field: arm circles, windmills, imperial walkers.
First camp activity: Mountain Climbing
Second camp activity: “travel” on the camp bus for a field trip
Third camp activity: Off to the Races!
Last Camp Activity: Rifles (we exercised our “guns”)
For Abs, everyone chose their favorite and led the group to their count (plus 10 more burpees for a total of 42)
Quote of the day from Muhammed Ali (RIP): “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact; it’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration; it’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
I would have said “impossible” if someone told me this time last year that I’d be Qing a workout involving burpees and bear crawls. Thanks for making impossible temporary, FiA!
Yours in sweat,
