Running Stations

  • When: 06/25/2018
  • Q: Queso
  • Pax: Hermione, Titanium, Grey Towers, Turkey Trot, Queso

Start at then end of parking lot and stop to perform one exercise at each partition:

Warm up: jog around the parking lot, leaving mats at 4 corners

The Thang:
The idea was to make your way jogging around the perimeter of the parking lot, while stopping at each row end to do an exercise.  The exercises were as follows:
1st station: 10 burpees
2nd station: 20 squats
3rd station: 30 alternating lunges
4th station: 40 jumping jacks
5th station: 50 crunches
6th station: plank for all FiA & 10 sec count together before starting again

Hermione  is QUICK with her burpees! Do you believe she would prefer burpees over plank jacks?!  By the way she flies through them with ease, I can see why!  Titanium gets after her squats! She seems to be able to get down low and back up much quicker than my long legs can handle!  I love the drive and will that Grey Towers brings to FiA! She pushes herself without ceasing and she makes us better because of it!  Turkey Trot not only dominates her runs, but she’s getting stronger every week with her strength training exercises.  Even after a full set or two, nothing stops those quick feet of hers!

We made it around the parking lot 2 times, equaling 4 reps of the above ladder.

We weren’t done yet! We grabbed our weights & performed the following at the baseline to finish off the morning:
-10 squat thrust
-10 curls
-10 tricep ext
-10 bent rows

COT: A great reminder since we’re up at the crack of dawn together of what to start our day focusing on & remembering:
