Rainy Elevens-day

It was not really rainy, but was definitely wet on Friday morning! We began trying to do all these exercises in cadence, but I’ve made some modifications here, as the static leg lunges about killed us in cadence! This is how we’ll try it next time we do this workout.

Warm Up IC:
cotton pickers with extension
toy soldiers
rainbow squats
slow side lunges

The Thang:
1 rep of 1 exercise and 10 reps of 2nd exercise; add 1 rep to the 1st /subtract 1 rep from the 2nd – sum must always add up to 11. Exercises done in cadence noted “IC.”
• pulsing plie squats/jumping jacks (both IC)
• pushups on wall/narrow squats
• static left leg lunges/static right leg lunges
• standing side crunch (right)/standing side crunch (left)
• side to side lunges/muscle ups on the wall
• big arm circles (alternating front-back)
• side reaches (right)/side reaches (left) (stand with legs hip-width apart and slide hand down toward your knees)
