Power Yoga + Tabata = Sore booty

We started with a short yoga flow

Mtn–cat/cow–down dog–chatarunga–up dog–down dog–up to mtn

The Thang

Power Yoga

  • Down dog knee to nose 5 each leg
  • Warrior 2 Pulse x 10
  • turn center to Star Pose, pulse 10
  • Warrior 2 other side, pulse 10
  • Tree – Warrior 3 hinge x 10 each leg
  • Chatarunga knee taps (hard!) x 10 total (from plank, lower down with elbows close to body until elbow and shoulder are in line, then bring knee out to side to meet elbow. Alternate sides.
  • Side Plank Side Crunch x 10 each leg
  • Boat Crunch x 10

Repeat once

Tabata 1, 20 sec, 10 rest 4 rounds

  • Weighted Lunge Taps (hold lunge and step back to tap your foot back
  • Split Lunges

Tabata 2, 20 sec, 10 rest, 4 rounds

  • Plank Jump-Plank Pike Combo
  • Hand Release Push-ups
