Playing with the Queen of Hearts

Another hot muggy morning, but a great turnout for SIOR.  I’ve been dealing with some medical issues, so it was great to get back into the swing of things – I missed my FiA ladies!  A few PAX defying the odds this morning, so hopefully Kool Aid and M went out to buy some lottery tickets – just don’t forget about us if you win big.

 

Disclaimer and Warm up

 

The Thang – Deck of cards

Draw a card, do that exercise, then move to South of the Border and back.  (move = walk, skip, hop, bear crawl, crab walk, run, whatever!)

Suit determines number of reps:

Diamond – 5 reps

Spade – 10 reps

Hearts – 15 reps

Clubs – 20 reps

 

Card determines exercise:

Joker – 5 star jumps

Queen of Hearts – 10 burpees

1 – Sumo squat

2 – Deadlift with back row

3 – Squat with leg raise

4 – Pushups

5 – Donkey kicks

6 – Triceps kickbacks

7 – One legged glute bridges (both sides)

8 – Upright row

9 – Front lunges

10 – Bicep curl to shoulder press

J – Back lunges

Q – Reverse flys

K – Side lunges

A – Lateral raises

 

Abs: Ring of fire

Each PAX counts to 5

Leg Raises

Russian Twists

Ankle grabbers
