Perseverance Pyramid

Just a few hardcore gals joined this morning for the last <20 degree workout for the foreseeable future.  We persevered through the cold stretch and the workout!

We warmed up with a jog around the parking lot then worked from the bottom of a pyramid up – 5 exercises in the bottom level, 4 in the next etc.  with increasing reps at each level.   After completing we ran a loop around the parking lot and started working back down the pyramid from top to bottom.

Levels were as follows:

 

Level 5 (30 each):

Bicep curls

Plank-Shoulder Taps

Overhead Press

Pike Push ups

Tricep Dips

 

Level 4 (35 each)

Sumo Squat

Lunge-kick (per leg)

weighted dead left (per leg)

weighted side lunge (per leg)

 

Level 3 (40 each)

High Knees

Burpees

Cross-body climbers

 

Level 2 (45 each)

reverse crunches

flutter kicks

 

Level 1 (50)

jumping jacks
