Minute to win it plus a little extra

For the first time ever I posted a workout without running (jogging to the wall didn’t count… just saying lol)!

We warmed up like always with some windmills, butt kickers, high knees, and arm circles (forward and back) before starting out rounds! Each round concentrated on a various body type and had 5 exercises. Each exercise was completed for a full minute.

Round 1:  (These were a little different- went to the tree and back rather that timed)

  • Skips
  • inchworms or walking planks
  • side shuffle to the right
  • side shuffle to the left

Round 2: Arms

  • Bicep curls
  • tricep extensions
  • bent row
  • hammer curls
  • lateral raise

Round 3: Legs

  • squats
  • fire hydrants (switched legs half way through)
  • Donkey kicks (switched legs half way through)
  • plank leg lifts
  • wall sit

Round 4: Abs

  • reverse crunch
  • Russian twists
  • regular crunch
  • penguins
  • defenders

Since we could not finish all the exercises in time if we did a full second round (And although it killed me not to cave in a run the track instead) we cut all exercises in half and completed each round with 30 second blocks.

After we finished we stretched out and came together to name our new FNG – Pretzel!! Welcome to the family girl 🙂
