Warm Up: Butt Kickers, Windmills, Torso twists with arm extension, Jacks, Small parking lot loop run
The thing: 4 ladies braved the wind to join me early in the morning for a Mini-Pyramid workout. We modified slightly for time constraints but managed to get thru 10 reps for pyramids 1 & 2 and then 6 reps for pyramids 3 & 4. Glad I put the burpees in the first one since we would have cut them short had they been at the end…and I know these girls wanted to get all 55 in! LOL!
Pyramids 1 & 3 were ascending order-do exercise 1, 2, & 3 for 1 rep, then all exercises for 2 reps, increasing to 10 reps. Pyramids 2 & 4 were in descending order-do exercise 1, 2, 3 for 10 reps, then all exercises for 9 reps decreasing to 1 repetition. Running in between for some cardio fun!
