Full disclosure- I totally stole this workout from Cougar Town (I think it was y’all) Posting back blasts always is a great idea so others can see the WOD, use it when they aren’t able to post but want to do something, or in my case, when I sign up to Q last minute and have zero creativity. I did tweak it just a little bit but I thought it was a great workout and my legs feel like they may not work tomorrow. So I think that’s a good sign?
Here’s what we did:
Warm up: all are done IC
20 imperial walkers
20 toy soldiers
20 mountain climbers
The thang:
40 jumping jacks
30 crunches
20 jump squats
10 push ups
Repeat 4x
Indian run to basketball court
5 tricep dips, 5 alternating step ups
10 tricep dips, 10 alternating step ups
15 tricep dips, 15 alternating step ups
20 tricep dips, 20 alternating step ups
5 tricep dips, 5 alternating step ups
10 tricep dips, 10 alternating step ups
Partner up:
1 partner runs up the tall stairs while the other runs up stairs, down the ramp, up the other set of stairs, and back down the ramp. Switch. Repeat 2x
P1 does exercise while P2 runs down hill and back up.
Switch each time
Exercises are curtsy lunges, Star jumps(ambitious after the running of the stairs and the jump squats we did so there was definitely some modifying happening), plank jacks
Run back to school
20 bridges
10 single leg bridge, then switch
Ankle biters, bicycles, heels to heaven, flying monkey, LBC
