The park was closed today for a children’s triathlon but we improvised and used a parking lot across the street!
After warming up, the 7 of us split into two groups. One group ran a lap around the buildings/lot and the other group did the following in sets of 10 until the runners got back to switch out.
– Plank jump ins (front, left, right), push ups, squats
Then we switched the workout but kept the same pattern of running/switching groups for 2 more rounds each.
– Side hops, Leg falls, russian twists
Before stretching, together we did 4 sets of 30 seconds each of the following…
– Heel touches (abs), one leg hip presses/tricep dip, plank
Stretched then headed for coffee/home!
