BB: Jukebox Hero

This morning was the best. I have missed Qing for the past few weeks and it was so nice to get back to it with an awesome and energized PAX at Jukebox. The skyline was beautiful and, though it was humid, we pushed ourselves. Here’s what went down. 

Warm up: 20 Jax (ic), 10 toy soldiers (ic), 10 imperial walkers (ic), 20 Jax (ic)

Then we got to running! Main focus of the workout: cardio and lower body. 

We headed into uptown on 7th Street, stopping about every 0.2 of a mile for one of the following:

  • 25 squats 
  • 20 walking lunges with hands straight up
  • Decline plank with pulsing kick backs (30 second plank with 20 second pulsing per leg)
  • 30 split squats (15 per leg)
  • Abs (ankle biters, full sit ups or little baby crunches)

Once we finished an exercise, we got back to running and then stopped again. 

Overall, we went up 7th to Tryon (left), out of town on 5th Street, left on McDowell and back down 7th. 

Our final portion:

1) some side shuffles

2) an Indian Run down 7th back to the lot

3)1 minute plank as a group. 

Total mileage: 3.1 miles

AMAZING work ladies! So proud of all of you and so honored to workout beside you.
