Hampton Roads has been super rainy and stormy this past week. Though it was not rainy Saturday morning, we still met under the bus pick up shelter because our normal spot was overtaken by water, geese, and goose poop. Thanks to Bravheart for sweeping the bus pick up shelter area for us to be able to work out! Anyways, it has been rainy therefore Saturday was exceptionally humid in my opinion. It’s either that or I was working a lot harder from the extra 12 lb vest I added to my workouts. Either way, I was spent afterwards and hope everyone else was as well!
Typical- 10 Jumping Jacks in cadence, 10 toy soldiers in cadence, 10 arm circles forward and backwards
I found two Pinterest Workouts which are posted below. The HIIT workout we completed rounds of 45 seconds on/15 seconds rest, 30 seconds on/10 seconds off and 20 seconds on/5 seconds rest. The “Legs+Back+Biceps” workout we split in half and completed each half as a stacked workout. In between both workouts we did an ab round at 45 seconds of work, 15 seconds of rest. Exercises included: flutter kicks, scissor kicks, hollowman hold, superwoman lifts, superwoman hold, leg lifts, oblique crunches both sides, and American Hammers.
With the heat and humidity, we need to make sure we are fueling our bodies with plenty of water and nutrients. We concluded with a prayer and attempting to make boomerangs.
