It was a small but fun group for Stampede on this Valentine’s Day.  The weather was misty, but not too cold, and we stayed dry under the parking deck.  We focused on the lower half using a barre inspired routine.  After warming up with a couple of runs up and down the stairs, we jumped right in.

The Plan (repeat the whole sequence twice through, and option to use weights to add some resistance)

Set 1: Right Side (one minute each exercise)

Lunge

Pulse Lunge

Extend Back (lift right leg behind)

Pulse Lunge

Static Hold

Side Lunge with Knee Raise

 

Set 2 (1 minute each again)

Plié Squat

Plié Squat Pulse

Pulse with Heel Raise

Static Hold with Heel Raise

Jumping Jacks

 

Set 3: Left Side (1 minute each move)

Lunge

Pulse Lunge

Extend Back

Pulse Lunge

Static Hold

Side Lunge with Knee Raise
