Genesis Back blast – It wasn’t THAT cold

I was excited to see 6 PAX join me this morning for a 20 degree workout.  As promised we kept moving and stayed under the deck.  Here is what we did:

Warm up: 15 Jumping jacks IC, 15 butt kickers IC, 10 cotton pickers and a job up and back down the deck

The Thang: Stations were at each level of the deck, we traveled to each level doing the first exercise on the list than started over on the bottom level with exercises 2, 3 and 4.  We only got to the 5th exercise on the first level.

Station 1

  1. 15 Bicep curls with weights
  2. 15 Tricep press with weights
  3. 15 Hammer Curls with Weights
  4. 20 Upright Rows
  5. 10 Shoulder Presses

Run to Next Level of deck

Station 2

  1. 10 Burpees
  2. 20 Mountain Climbers (2 is 1)
  3. 25 Jumping Jacks
  4. 20 High Knees (2 is 1)

Bear Crawl Up to next level

Station 3

  1. 20 Jump Squats
  2. 20 Jump Lunges (1 is 1)
  3. 25 Squat Pulses
  4. 10 Side Lunges (10 each side)

Walking Lunges to Next Level

Station 4

  1. 20 Russian Twists (2 is 1)
  2. 5 Turkish Get Ups (Lay down and stand all the way up without using hands)
  3. 15 WWII Sit Ups
  4. 20 Heels to Heaven

Quadraphilia to Next Level

Station 5

  1. 25 Plank Jacks
  2. 20 Plank Shoulder Taps (1 is 1)
  3. 10 Alternating Side Planks (2 is 1)
  4. 20 Plank Toe Touches (1 is 1)

Run back down to First Level – Start Over

Moleskin:  It wasn’t that cold, to be honest I didn’t want to come at all.  Maybe it is because I just spent the last week in San Diego.  So glad I did come, I think the parking deck adds 10 degrees and it wasn’t that bad with our layers.  We almost had Vegas Baby down to her tank top.  Thanks ladies for braving the cold and joining me. -Native
