Full Circle

12 Pax gathered together on a breezy Wednesday afternoon for some full body circuit work.  With a theme of full circle and “what goes around comes around”.

We started our workout with 20 forward arm circles while holding a squat we then reversed this motion and did 20 more.  We then rounded out our warm up with a quick jog around the parking loop.

The Thang:

Some full body circuit training.

We rotated through the 8 Stations set up following the same order:

  • Cardio
  • Upper Body
  • Lower Body
  • Core

We spent 1 min intervals at each of the stations and then rotated.

The 8 Stations were:

  • High Knees
  • Chest Press (using resistance bands)
  • Plie Squats/Calf Raises
  • Reverse Crunches
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Lateral Raises (using resistance bands)
  • Squats with weight toss
  • Bicycle Crunches

After we had all gone through each exercise once we ran the parking loop and returned…rinse and repeat 3x.

With several FiA 2.0s in attendance the energy was high and fun.  Laughter was constant during this workout (laughter is good for those core muscles). Okra: As always you gave 110% carrying a ruck and pushing extra, Caddy: your reverse crunches are on point…your abs might be feeling it today, Salsa: Your quiet determination and ability to push through each exercise did not go unnoticed, Shaka: Extra points for the dancing high knees (Hall and Oats always gets us moving) 2.0s: Thanks for pushing us all to run a little faster, smile a little more, and see the fun and joy all around us.

This was just the workout I needed after some cold days here on the coast.  Not doubt we are truly #bettertogether
