We will be doing reps of 1000, because…Females Are Strong As Hell.

Lately I’ve been feeling sorry for myself since I haven’t bounced back from a knee injury as quickly as I had hoped. But this week I heard about a dear FiA that, several years ago, went through something extremely difficult (that thankfully has a happy ending).  She survived in a way only a strong female could.  And then that same day I saw an article on Twitter about a woman in India who fought off a FULL-GROWN TIGER using only a stick.  So yeah…Females Are Strong As Hell.  I needed those reminders and maybe you do too.

This workout is full body, with a lower body focus. Nothing too crazy. I’m happy to report there is no running and zero burpees.

Here are a few myths I’ve busted, in case you are on the fence about coming out:

Myth #1: But I’m injured.

FALSE: Everything can be modified.  Even if you’ve broken both legs and both arms, wheel yourself out and gab with us.

Myth #2: But I’m out of shape.

FALSE: You got to start somewhere. The idea is “If it hurts, don’t do it.  If it’s tough, work through it.”  And again, everything can be modified.

Myth #3: But I haven’t been to FiA in a while and I won’t know anybody.

FALSE: You have been missed!  At some point recently the following conversation has occurred-

FiA #1- “Hey, has anyone seen {insert your name here} lately?”

FiA #2- “Aw man, I love her. We need to get her back out here.”

I’ll see you tomorrow morning from 8:15am-9:15am at the picnic tables at Brier Creek Elementary. They will, no doubt, be covered in pollen. #Gesundheit
