MT. FiA WINTER OLYMPICS 2018
8 amazing Olympic Athletes showed up with great focus and determination this morning and ALL RECEIVED A GOLD MEDAL!!!! 🥇
-Warm Up- The Torch was passed from Olympic Athlete (OA) to Olympic Athlete (OA) … (I know I know… we shouldn’t call ourselves Olympic Athletes, but were pretty close, right??). 😏☺️🤔🤗
Anyway, Athletes were spread out in a large circle and had to lunge forward right, squat and then lunge forward left, squat (repeat) until they met the next (OA) and passed the torch. While each Olympic Athlete was lunging and squatting around the circle the rest of the Athletes alternated between commandos (Skelton Sledding) and Mountain Climbing.🧗🏻♀️
Q faux pas😬
I couldn’t get the music to work for the National Anthem, so we were unable to do this part … but I wanted to mention that we were going to do this to honor those that have sacrificed and are sacrificing so much for our country and as a tribute to all the Athletes that have worked so hard to get to the Olympics…. So instead, the Olympic Athletes at Mt. FiA did One Million Squats🤗 as I tried to get the Blue Tooth and Music to work.
Moving On ….
OA’s did 18 of Each exercise … 18 for the year 2018. The Athletes wanted to do Two Thousand and Eighteen Reps but I had to hold them back ….
– Mogul Jumps⛷
– Figure Skating, ⛸Partner Lift with Weight (Left Leg To Right Side, Wood Choppers)
– Snow Board Jumps🏂
– Figure Skating, ⛸Partner Lift with Weight (Right Leg to Left Side, Wood Choppers)
– Speed Skaters 🏃♀️⛸
– Cross Country Push With weight (Tricep Kickbacks and Into a Calf Raise)🎿
– Figure Skating Hold, (Pistol Squats) (9 on each leg) ⛸
REPEAT EXERCISES (2x Thru)
🏒Trying to get on the Olympic Hockey Team too, we needed to make sure we lifted some more weighs!🏋️♀️ (Trivia Fact: Between the Men and the Women’s USA Hockey Team, They have won a total of 16 medals)🥇🥈🥉! Wings also promoted her movie Miracle after that stat.
To buff up, so “Holy☺ Hot Lips- could fight on the ice … We started off with 10 of each of the following exercises below, after completing 10 .. we then did 9 of each, 8 of each, 7 of each, 6 of each 5,4,3,2 and then 1 of each exercise.
– Squat To Press
– Bicep Curl
– Bent Over Rows
– Tricep Kick Backs
We then Joined Bobsled Teams (4 Teams of 2) and Joked about Cool Runnings … There was a lot of good form out there!!! Nip Tuck, Repeat and Intern won Gold for accuracy and Swank and Lilac won Gold for speed!
As one team member slid down the Mountain and ran back up MT. FiA, the other team member did alternating 4 “Toe Picks” on the Curb and then balanced into a beautiful skating pose on both the Right and Left Side.
As always, I love starting my mornings with you ladies. Thank you for pushing me … being an Olympic Athlete is hard work! ☺️🏂⛷💪🏻
