We started with a 3 minute warm up. Jogging in place, jumping jacks, butt kickers. I explained 11s while we finished those up so we could get straight to it!
Round one – burpees and squats
Round two – tuck jumps and plank jacks
Round three- push ups and sit ups
Round four- star jumps and jump lunges
Elevens are a sneaky way to do 55 of each of these exercises! We had two cones, an odd cone and an even cone, so we ran between the two in between each set. So, 10 burpees, 1 squat, run.
9 burpees, 2 squats, run.
8 burpees, 3 squats, run.
You get the point?
So, when we finished, we all found a partner and did a cool down 1/2 mile jog to the pier and back… but you were supposed to run at a conversation pace and get a prayer request from your partner to pray for them over the weekend.
When we got back, we did the regular name o rama, followed by going back around, saying your partner’s fia name and giving a compliment or two about them.
It was a really uplifting way to start my weekend. And I LOVED hearing all the unique, kind things we had to say about one another.
We are an awesome tribe of women!
