Earn Your Turkey Dinner!

I know that being the Saturday before Thanksgiving means we won’t see some of you until after the holiday, so we had a Thanksgiving themed workout! We got our Pilgrims and Indians action going and had a lot of fun. Thanks so those who came out to play!


The Thang:

Warm up: Chicken Fat


Divide into 2 groups. Pilgrims and Indians 18 of each exercise:


P – Plank Jacks

I – Inchworm Push Ups

L – Leg Raises

G – Glute Bridges

R – Russian Twists

I – Incline Push-Ups

M – Mountain Climbers

S – Squats


I – Iron Squat (Squat, arms up to parallel, arms down, back up from squat)

N – Negative Push Ups (Push up position, go down, put knees down and push back up)

D – Deadlifts

I – Incline Push Ups (on curb)

A – Alternating Back Lunges

N – Newton’s Cradle

S – Sumo Squats


Indian Run

Pax were given a sheet with exercises for every letter of the alphabet. Two groups chose potatoes as their dish and one group chose stuffing.

Pick one of the following foods with a partner and spell it out!


  • Turkey
  • Potatoes
  • Stuffing
  • Cranberry
  • Gravy
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Casserole
