8 ladies met at a new location today at Shaffner Park to do some hill repeats in the humidity. Warm “up” mile, literally … started right off with the Yorkshire hill, turn right on Pine Valley and then left to the bottom of Club Park Road. Here’s where the fun begins!
3 hill repeats from base of Club Park and Forest to the intersection of Club Park and Pine Valley then back down and around the traffic triangle, and repeat. After 3, did 5 single leg squats to inchworm on each leg (10 total), 20 tricep dips, then 30 Raggedy Anns.
3 repeats from base of Club Park to the round-about on Club Park near FCC. Run the round-about and head back to the traffic triangle on Club Park and Forest, repeat. For Whip, run around the triangle in the opposite direction of the short hill repeats. Thanks for Bulldawg for telling me we were going down the wrong spoke of the roundabout back – whoops!! Repeat same exercises after 3rd loop as above.
Running out of time so one short hill repeat then one long, stopping at Club Park and Pine Valley to head back to the parking lot and our cars. About 5.5 miles of new terrain today – thanks ladies for joining me! Would have NEVER done this by myself!
