Today we were pleasantly surprised to arrive and find that the humidity level was not at 100% but had dropped down into the 80’s (Thanks OG for the fun fact). It really made a difference!
We haven’t had a Q School in quite some time (and they really aren’t well attended). I decided to switch things up a little and incorporate some Q School info into our workout. I’m sure the PAX were sick of my talking by the end of the workout, but I do hope they found it helpful.
Here’s what the workout looked like:
Warm-Up:
Mosey to the Wall by the Playground.
Circuit Work. Starting at the wall do an exercise for 1 minute. Bear Crawl down the hill to the fence. Do Reverse Crunches while wait and then count out 10 altogether. Do another exercise for 1 minute. Run back up to the wall. Here are the exercises we did:
On the next round after the exercise at the wall, we ran down the hill and around the fence. Completed another exercise. Ran around the fence and back up the hill. Exercises in this circuit were:
Mosey to the Swings for a Ring of Fire. Using two swings, two PAX at a time do 10 Knee Tucks on the swing while the other PAX hold Reverse Plank. Rotate through until everyone has completed 10 Knee Tucks.
Gather over on the sidewalk and split up into two teams for a Sprint Relay Race. Take turns sprinting to the said spot and sprint back. Rinse and repeat x 2.
Mosey back to the shelter for a 5 x 5 burn-out. Complete the series of exercises as fast as you can, rinse and repeating for 5 minutes.

“Just start. Small wins lead to big wins.”
Thanks for helping to count and lead Goofy Foot, OG and Cornflower.
Green Thumb – I’m with you on the Bear Crawl form. Maybe we should look at some YouTube videos.
Springbok – Smart move with the water today!
Dually – Hope your Quad heals quickly.
Rapido – There was some mumble chatter about how the “oldies” are impressed with your drive at a young age. Keep up the strong work!
Flamin’ Amy – Welcome again! Sorry we didn’t name you last time. Hope to see you before you head back to Germany.
Super impressed with you all. Keep on moving.
As always, thanks for letting me lead and putting up with my ideas.
Peace,
Chowda
