Boy Band Beatdown

Great morning to meet on the turf baseball field for a music- and weight-filled beatdown!  Everybody came ready to work, and work they did!  Pax paired/trio’d off – while one pax was hammering out the exercise, the other was running the bases, then switched off.  Continued for the duration of each song.  Changed workouts with different songs by different boy bands.  Felt like dancing, but kept the momentum (and weight) going.  Here’s how it went down:

Hermione had her sprint on; Queso grabbed heavy weights with lots of reps; Grey Towers demonstrated fabulous form; and petite Benadryl put on a gun show!  We all agreed it was a good, hard workout.  Fun music and great companions make the work easier!

COT:

Encouraged breath prayers to help with focus and calmness – breath in slowly, hold it, and exhale slowly while saying a short prayer.  For example, breathe in with “God in” and exhale with “me out”.  Or, “God, your will be done”.  Quick and easy way to refocus during the day.
