Body Glow

Today is the last official day of Summer 2018 and these amazing ladies got their Body Glow (aka SWEAT) on with a little different spin on it.  Today’s partner WO consisted of six exercises with mostly dumbbells timed to music:

Warm Up

  • Slow jog to the bottom of the hill and back (about 200m)
  • 10 Cherry pickers
  • Arm Circles – 10 each big/small, forwards and backwards
  • 10 Raggedy Anns
  • 10 push ups

Workout- timed to a Glow Party playlist.  Each song between 3.5 an 4.5 minutes with rest between.  Average was 2 rounds apiece.

  • G2OH dumbbell press 10 left, 10 right
    • Partner – Jumping Jacks
  • Front Squats – 20 with weight
    • Partner – Burpees
  • Bicep Curls- 8/8/8 with 2 dumbbells
    • Partner – hi knees or parking lot jogging
  • Donkey Kicks with dumbbell held behind the knee – 15 left, 15 right
    • Partner – Skater squats
  • Abs
    • Circle Jerks – 10 forward, 10 backward
    • 25 Crunches
    • 25 Russian Twists
    • 10 V-sits
    • 10 Reverse Crunches
  • Cooldown
