When you try to do something you saw on Facebook or YouTube, who knows how well it will all go. I saw a team building exercise on FB using a large exercise ball being passed off using legs only. When I was looking up other ball exercises, I came across a group class (Goosed) that circles up and uses a medicine ball during their 30 minute session. Mother Trucker & I decided to spice things up circling up after we did some basic moves between the sidewalk and our mat. Ten lovelies showed up this hump day morning to keep the weekly mojo moving and hope they weren’t too disappointed by the workout changeup.
Lt Dans around our parking lot area
Arm circles 10 IC Front and back
Line up on sidewalk (place mats on opposite side)
25 squats run to mat for 15 push ups – 4x
15 tricep dips run to mat for 25 crunches – 4x
Circle up around ball (we used smaller ball for these moves)
Ball toss w/ burpees (toss the ball & do a burpee) – 5 min.
Hold hands and jump sideways for 10 count – reverse and go other direction
Over head pass behind to next person who would pass through legs – alternate 5 min.
Hold hands for 10 jump squats
Stand shoulders touching to pass ball around one direction and then back opposite
Ball toss with jump squats – about 5 min.
High knees in circle for 10 count
Lower body jacks/cardio move with ball toss for a few minl
Lie on mats head to feet in a line to pass ball along using feet only…we tried this and finally got it somewhat down. After two times back and forth we switched to smaller ball to do sit up passes down the line and ended with 10 sit ups just for fun.
