Tonight I finally got to get back out there and RUCK! It’s been months and I was pumped to be able to have a free night to join the FiA #mother_ruckers. No Q on the calendar this am, so yup, you guessed it, my name quickly got added. Hey, if I can finally make it out, might as well help out and Q. We teamed up with the F3 #toughruckers and set out.
10 OYO Burpee Pack Overhead Press in case there are any stragglers (The Hub was super busy tonight, with limited parking-races, baseball, tennis going on – hello summer)
Let’s get moving. Head over to the playground wall for a series of exercises:
Head back out onto the path towards the baseball fields. Stopped by the batting cages.
Jump into the race and ruck to the pull up bars.
Loop back around to the (missing) Flags. OYO for the last 5 minutes complete the following exercises, rinse & repeat style, until time is up:
Props to my MA boxing trainer, Doug, for the ending hurrah.
Strong work by all tonight. Glad I got to meet Pony Express and Chewy. Always great to put a face with the name (yes, yes I admit it, I read the F3 Backblasts). Seahorse, who knew you were so good at the Chewy impersonation. You learn something new everyday. Ocra, as always, glad to have you by my side, picking on me (ok, encouraging me too).
Thanks for putting up with me and letting me lead.
