Batter Up brought the sweat this morning with a Tabata/AMRAP style workout. With a hot pink poster and the moves of a pro, she demoed the moves and got the Pax warmed up. We had 3 FNGS who got to see a good one in action.
Each Round lasted 5 minutes and you repeated the 3 sets as many times as possible during each 5 minute round.
Round 1: 20 Russian Twists, 10 Push Ups and 5 Burpees
Round 2: 20 Speed Skaters, 10 Plank Jax and 5 Tuck Jumps
Round 3: 20 mountain climbers, 10 Inch worms, 5 squat Jumps
Round 4: 20 High Knees, 10 Tricep Dips and 5 Jumping Lunges
Round 5: 20 Flutter Kicks, 10 Bridge hip dips, 5 V sit Ups
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. (NLT) ( 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 )
Is it a struggle by the end of the day to keep on going? Have life’s circumstances pulled you into survival mode? Perhaps you have health issues that keep you holding on to life day by day. Or you are a caregiver, putting on a strong face, yet crumbling inside while trying to provide. These trials did not happen without a purpose. Loved ones are learning from you and making changes. When you have a hard time seeing the positives of your struggles, remember this, God works best when you are weak. His grace is all you need.
