10 PAX at The Den today for this second day of October! We got right to work with some stretching, while everyone eyed the triangle I had set up using buckets. We ran 2 laps around the large triangle so everyone would know our course.
The Thang: Accumulating Triangles
Each point of the triangle had 5 exercises listed. We started with just the first exercise for 40 seconds, then ran to the next point. Again, we did just the first exercise for 40 seconds, then ran to the third point and did the same.
When we made it back to the first point, we did the first and second exercise, each for 40 seconds. We ran to the second point and did the same. Then the first two exercises at the third point. So, an accumulator Beatdown!
The first exercise at each point was completed 5 times total. While the last was only completed once. I had hoped to go back down through the escalator, but our triangle was pretty large, so the run time stretched out workout out. But, it was enough just as it was – lots of mumble chatter today.
Point 1: Arms
Bicep Curl, Side Extensions, Tricep Kickbacks, Overhead Press, and Swimmers
Point 2: Legs
Narrow Squat with Back Kick, Single Leg Dead Lifts, Prisoner Squat Jumps, Skaters, Calf Raises
Point 3: Abs
In & Outs, BGSUs, Russian Twists, Lower/Upper/Squeeze/Release, Leg Lifts
We ended with announcements about upcoming socials and events, prayer requests, and our COT.
We had another great workout with the ladies that I am oh, so thankful for. I love starting my day with them. I am so thankful for each and every one of my FiAs.
