Backblast for Monday, June 25 Ruck at Pacesetter
11 Pax came out for the Ruck on Monday!
We began by incorporating exercises into the ruck. Some of these included walking high knees, toe walks, walking lunges, shoulder press with pack, shoulder shrugs, curls with pack, imperial walkers, side shuffles while walking.
💥Next, we did 4 circuits of exercises where we gave our pack to a partner and then did 2 exercises and then ran to catch up to our partners who were continuing to ruck along the route. Then switched. The sets were as follows:
💪🏻10 burpees, 10 squat jacks
🏃🏼♀️Run/switch
💪🏻10 plank jacks, 10 sumo squats
🏃🏼♀️Run/switch
💪🏻10 jump squats, 10 Bear crawls
🏃🏼♀️Run/switch
💪🏻10 push-ups, Star jumps
🏃🏼♀️Run/switch
💥After the circuits, we continued regular rucking and finished off with a few more exercises incorporated into the rucking as we did at the beginning. We covered about 3 miles distance.
