So Monday morning ended up being a super peer pressuring workout. I repeated a previous workout because it included an exercise called “man-makers” and they make me feel like I’ve actually worked out every time I do them. (Google it if you’ve never done them. So worth the challenge!)
Needless to say, I was excited about this workout and “feeling my oats” this morning and was very inspired when we say Rocker (respect) using weights for typically non-weighted activities. We happened to have been on squats when Rocker used her weights and I’d been “encouraging” (read judgingly fussing at…) some of the PAX for using weights that didn’t look like they were being challenged at all (no resistance during movements). I’ve been picking on these particular PAX to go up in dumbbell weights for a while. Their response….”If you’re so big and bad, do arm circles with your weights” (which were 8 lbs by the way). Challenge accepted…..regretfully. That crap hurt, lol.
We had a great morning of sweat together and really enjoyed each other’s company during the push to the end of a strenuous workout. Thanks for pushing me ladies! #strongertogether #bettertogether
