This workout was much harder than I thought it would be (which is not a bad thing!). Grateful for the grace extended from this group of gals as I Q’d from the back of the pack this morning. Everyone who showed up gave it 110% and it felt great to get out there and work hard alongside everyone.
Here’s what we did:
Warm Up– Jog from pavilion around partial track to parking lot. IC for all- 20 Butt Kickers, 15 Imperial Walkers, 10 Squat- Heel Taps, 10 Windmills. Jog back to Pavilion.
Set 1: (Repeated x3): 40 JJ/ 30 High Knees/ 20 Speed Skaters (w/ floor touch)/ 15 tricep dips/ 10 Burpees… Run perimeter of parking lot back to Pavilion to repeat.
Jog to long parking lot.
Set 2: 11’s with Jump Squats and Froggers. Each combo of exercises must add up to 11- first set you do 10 jump squats at one end of parking lot, run the 50 meters to opposite end of lot and do 1 Frogger… run back the 50 meters to the side you started at and do 9 Jump Squats- run again to opposite end and do 2 Froggers (etc). This set is what killed me- almost literally.
Set 3: 7’s with Mountain Climbers and Plank Jacks (distance was shorter- running between light poles, 30 feet, maybe?)
Jog back to Pavilion
Set 4: Plank Set with 1 min regular plank/ 30 sec R Side plank, 30 sec L Side plank, 30 Sec R Leg lift Plank, 30 Sec L Leg lift Plank… ( I had one more 1 min regular plank planned here- but we cut it out as time was running short). No breaks between transition of planks- totaling 3 min of planking.
COT- (Announcements)- Chapel Hill launches this Saturday so lets go out and show support as we workout alongside them and cheer on Peachtree and Mary Lou as they co-Q that workout.
