Nine Pax joined me at the #busstop to greet the sunrise while exercising through various stops around the block.

Warm Up

  • Shoulder rolls (forward and backwards)
  • Arm Circles (forward and backwards)
  • Side lunge stretches
  • Jumping Jacks
  • Cherry pickers

Stop One

I explained the workout: move around the block to various stops. At each stop we would do 7 of one exercise, stacking them as we moved. We began by jogging and then lunge walking to second stop.

Stop Two

Seven Burpees. Jog and then lunge walk to third stop.

Stop Three

Seven Burpees, Seven Squats. Bear crawl to fourth stop.

Stop Four

Seven Burpees, Seven Squats, Flutter Kicks for a slow count of seven. Jog and then backwards jog to fifth stop.

Stop Five

Seven Burpees, Seven Squats, Flutter Kicks for a slow count of seven, Seven Push Ups. Jog and then backwards jog to sixth stop.

Stop Six

Seven Burpees, Seven Squats, Flutter Kicks for a slow count of seven, Seven Push Ups, Seven Fire Hydrants on each leg. Bear crawl to seventh stop.

Stop Seven

Seven Burpees, Seven Squats, Flutter Kicks for a slow count of seven, Seven Push Ups, Seven Fire Hydrants on each leg, Seven Mountain Climbers.

We then circled up on our mats and each Pax called out a different Ab exercise. Followed by some stretching a variation of this Mr. Rogers quote: “Whether we are a preschooler or a young teen, a graduating college senior or a retired person, we human beings all want to know that we’re acceptable, that our being alive somehow makes a difference in the lives of others.”
