50s @ 5 (Take 2)

Three Red Haven PAX showed up for 50s @ 5 this morning. The workout centered around a concentration of a certain exercise type/body part for a total of 50 reps (mix-n-match), set to music from the 50s (which REALLY helped to keep us rockin’ and a rollin’)! ***We used hand weights with this workout.

The Workout
1. JJs (Jumpin’ Jacks) – 25 >>>> High Knees – 25
2. Bicep curls – 25 >>>> Tricep Extensions – 25
3. Sumo Squats – 25 >>>> Monkey Humpers – 25 (For the record, I accidentally skipped right over these)
4. Plank Jacks – 15 >>>> Hold Plank, move straight into 20 Plank toe tapouts >>>> Finish with 15 more Plank Jacks
5. Weighted Bridges (heels, planted out wide) – 25 >>>> Weighted Bridges (Tiptoe)

1. Cross Jacks – 25 >>>> Jumprope – 25
2. Shoulder Press – 25 >>>> Bent-over Rows – 25
3. Alternating Front Lunges – 24 (12 each side) >>>> Calf Raises – 26
4. Mountain Climbers – 25 >>>> Supermans – 25
5. Fire Hydrants – 50 (25 each side)

1. Crunches – 20 >>>> Hello Javas – 10 >>>> 6″ – 20
2. Skaters – 26 (13 each side) >>>> 24 Star Jumps
