I don’t remember a time I didn’t want to see the sun (especially after growing up in the dismal Northeast), but this Saturday sure fit the bill.  We were all thankful that, as hot and humid as it was, the sun stayed behind the clouds!

Warm-ups: windmills, side lunges, arm circles, jog to track.

Station 1: Arms/Legs

  • 10 incline push-ups
  • 20 tricep dips
  • 10 decline push-ups
  • 2 laps around the track (your pace)
  • 20 squats with knee raises
  • 20 lunges with knee raises
  • 20 kickback lunges
  • 1 lap around the track, then run to playground

Station 2: core and Arms

  • 20 donkey kicks (10 each leg)
  • 20 cross-knee planks
  • 20 cross-knee mountain climbers (slow)
  • Run back to field

Station 3: Abs

  • 2 1-minute wall sits
  • 20 heels to sky pulses
  • 20 crazy ivan’s on each side
  • 20 LBCs

Thanks to everyone who came out for this one!  It had been a crazy week at work and – I’ll admit – I’ve been more enthused about dentist appointments than Qing this workout. However, by 5 minutes into the first run, the conversation and comraderie reminded me of why we do this – #bettertogether
